Challenge

Tiffany came to physical therapy with a severe case of tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis.  She had constant pain and was finding waitressing very difficult with constant elbow pain.

Solution

Manual therapy techniques combined with Kinesiotaping allowed her to move and work with less pain.  She was also given stretches and gradual strengthening exercises.  The kinesiotaping was critical in allowing her to work with less pain.

Result

In 6 visits she was pain free with work and daily life activities.  She had the tools to continue increasing her strength gradually.  She knew that the tendon would need gradual strengthening on her own over the next 6 months.

Challenge

Jessi came to physical therapy with a severe case of tendonitis in both shoulders.  She had been increasing her participation in cross fit competitions with weight lifting.  Jessi also worked stocking shelves so her shoulders never have a chance to rest.

Solution

Manual therapy techniques, Graston Technique, and especially the kinesiotaping was critical in allowing her to work with less pain.  Jessi needed more range of motion in her shoulders in order to raise her arms up without pinching on the rotator cuff and biceps tendons.  She learned exercises for stretching and strengthening her rotator cuff and shoulder blade muscles.

Result

In 10 visits she was nearly pain free with work and daily life activities.  She had the tools to continue increasing her strength gradually.  She knew that the tendon would need gradual strengthening on her own over the next 6 months.

The best place to get PT! Not only do they help you there, they also show you how to you can help yourself with at home exercise. I was feeling better in a span of a few weeks. Everyone there is really nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend Penrose to anyone in need of physical therapy.
