How Does Telehealth Work?

Telehealth Physical Therapy is very similar to in-person visits. Here’s how:

Reasons Our Telehealth Option Is So Popular:

How does Telehealth services work when the Physical Therapist can’t touch where it hurts? We are able to have you go through movements and based on the movements and where you say the pain is we can figure out the tissues and joints involved.  We are experts at analyzing movement and clearly communicating what is going on based on the information you give us and how you move.

How is a virtual visit different than in person? Many of our patients have been pleasantly surprised at how much we could help virtually and give them practical tools and tips to move better without pain!  The main difference is there is no hands on treatment.  However, most of our success is from analyzing movement and explaining what to do even when it is in person.

I don’t have any workout equipment at home. Can I still use Telehealth services?  YES!  For example for one patient I had to show them how to bend and squat and then have them practice.  Demonstration of the movements and explaining how to use the muscles and joints correctly we eliminated the pain in the knee with squats! So no, you don’t have to have fancy equipment.
